The political scene in Pakistan seems to be hotting up, with Former President and COAS General (Rtrd) Pervez Musharraf has announced his inclusion in the cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan’s Tehrik-e-Insaf party.
In a press conference the Former President announced that he is officially joining hands with Imran Khan and PTI and will announce APML’s full support to the cause in the upcoming jalsas. He added that there are possibilities that APML will be dissolved into PTI and both parties will form a national alliance in coming months.
He accepted that he had many differences with PTI and its leadership in the past but at present both parties are working for the same cause and it is in APML’s interest to collaborate with like minded individual and parties to form a national consensus.
He also included that he will be returning to Pakistan very soon and will start his political activities aggressively. This is a very positive change for the country and it seems like PTI is getting stronger every passing day.
